About

About me

Welcome! I am a qualified and licensed career coach with over twenty years’ experience of career coaching, learning and organisational development. I am a registered professional member of the Career Development Institute and support and adhere to its Code of Ethics. In addition, I have qualifications in HR and coaching at master’s levels and am also licensed to use a range of career products and psychometric tools.

I have experienced a range of employment types and patterns such as full and part-time work, flexible working, freelance work, self-employment and portfolio working combining these also with study and raising a family. I have also changed career, experienced redundancy, worked overseas and re-established a career on my return.

I currently combine career coaching with a part-time role teaching English as a foreign language to students in Bournemouth.

My Approach

Career experiences and coaching needs are individual and personal. You may be experiencing redundancy, returning to the workplace after a career break or family changes, considering a phased retirement, flexible work options or a portfolio career,  or seeking a career change.

I specialise in working with people embracing mid-to-late career transitions, helping them gain clarity about their future direction and build a plan for their way forward.

Coaching does not give you the answers or offer advice but helps you increase your own self-awareness, uncover a wider range of options and challenge any self-limiting beliefs you might have. We work together to build an understanding of your needs, agree outcomes and a tailored programme to meet these.

Throughout each programme, I draw from my expert knowledge of a range of tools and techniques that best suit each client, including applied neuroscience, psychometrics, solutions focus and NLP.

I offer sessions in person or online in the afternoons and early evenings. In person sessions take place at the Consulting Centre in Poole or in Blandford Forum. Some sessions may be available at weekends in Blandford Forum. Initially, I offer a 20-minute complimentary, no obligation consultation call to discuss your needs and agree on the next steps.
